Cybersecurity and Data Protection
This Joint Technical Committee focuses on developing standards for cybersecurity and data protection covering all aspects of the evolving information society, including:
- Management systems, frameworks, methodologies
- Data protection and privacy
Its work is mainly divided into 2 different working groups:
Working Group 6 - Product security
This group covers cybersecurity related standardization work for products which covers both product requirements and process requirements (security by design and by default).
Working Group 9 - Special Working Group on Cyber Resilience Act
Its main aim is to develop Horizontal Standards for the CRA, which will define the generic state-of-the-art for the activities that manufacturers must execute to develop and maintain secure products.
