Expert contribution / Cybersecurity laboratory - vertical standards for security requirements
Vertical standards for security requirements
What does the work you will carry out for the CYBERSTAND SSP consist of?
The work will consist of participating in meetings of the ETSI TC CYBER Working Group for EUSR (CYBEREUSR-CRA Consumer IoT Verticals), and contributing to the development of relevant vertical standards for consumer IoT products, specifically smart home assistants, internet-connected toys, and personal wearable devices.
What is the expected result and impact of this activity?
The expected result and impact of this activity is the development of consumer IoT standards that are technically robust, implementable, and practical for manufacturers of all sizes, thereby supporting secure, compliant, and market-ready products across the consumer IoT ecosystem.
Which aspects of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) standardisation are you focusing on?
The focus is on ensuring that Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)–related consumer IoT standards are practical and implementable, both for manufacturers developing compliant products and for assessment bodies responsible for evaluating and certifying those products.
