Final DOSS Webinar and Policy Recommendations

Final DOSS Webinar and Policy Recommendations
30 July 2026 10:00–11:00

The Internet of Things (IoT) is increasingly embedded in critical sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, mobility, and energy, making cybersecurity a key regulatory priority in the EU. The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) introduces mandatory cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements and aims to establish a consistent cybersecurity baseline across the EU.

This webinar will explore how harmonized certifi cation and conformity assessment approaches can support effective CRA implementation, strengthen trust, and enable a secure and interoperable IoT ecosystem in the EU.

Objectives:

  • Review CRA requirements and related IoT cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Explore certifi cation, conformity assessment, and security assurance challenges.
  • Identify regulatory overlaps, implementation gaps, and harmonization needs.
  • Discuss mutual recognition approaches across jurisdictions.
  • Develop recommendations for effective IoT cybersecurity governance under the CRA.

Topics include:

  • Examine current IoT policy and regulatory approaches across regions.
  • Discuss the role of certification, conformity assessment, and labeling schemes in building trust.
  • Identify gaps, overlaps, and opportunities for international alignment and mutual recognition.
  • Foster dialogue between policymakers, industry, and standards organizations.
  • Contribute to actionable recommendations for future IoT governance.

Cyberstand.eu at the DOSS final event

CYBERSTAND.eu will also take part in the DOSS project's Final Policy Webinar 2026, with a dedicated session introducing the project and its upcoming activities. The session will give the DOSS project community an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and how to comply with its obligations, with a focus on ongoing activities and the support CYBERSTAND.eu provides to SMEs and organisations navigating the path to regulatory compliance.
