CRACoWi Launches New Use Case Workshop Series, starting with SME Perspective on Cyber Resilience Act Compliance

First session of the CRACoWi Use Case Webinar Series takes place online on 2 September 2026, featuring first-hand insights from software SME Erminas on responding to cybersecurity incidents without a dedicated security department.

The EU-funded project CRACoWi will launch a new online workshop series on 2 September 2026, 11:00-12:00 CEST, dedicated to exploring the project's real-world use cases and their relevance to different organisiations preparing for the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

The opening session, titled "Cybersecurity Affects Us All - including small and medium-sized enterprises," features Erminas, a software company specialising in industrial digitalisation and one of CRACoWi's use case partners. Speaking from direct experience, Erminas will share how the company navigates cybersecurity incidents and CRA compliance without a dedicated security department - a reality shared by the vast majority of SMEs across Europe.

The webinar will walk participants through a realistic vulnerability-response scenario, demonstrating how tools such as a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), lightweight threat modelling, and structured customer communication can turn an unpredictable security incident into a manageable, transparent process.

The session marks the beginning of a broader webinar series grounded in CRACoWi's use cases, developed as part of the project's work on validating the CRA Compliance Wizard across a diverse range of stakeholders - from manufacturers and SMEs to importers and distributors.
